This is just a quick note to thank you for your great customer service the other day at Forest Hill Divide in Auburn, CA.
I called you late afternoon on Friday thinking you might be able to help me with a serious mechanical problem that most certainly had me cancelling my Forest Hill epic with all my friends on Saturday morning. I knew that there was no way I could fix my bike that night and probably would miss the next week as well. Much to my surprise, my crazy Bicycle Engineering shop owner, YOU, blew my mind!
Your offer to meet me in Auburn at 6:45am to lend me your Ibis Mojo XTR to ride plus pick up my Mojo to fix was way beyond what any other bike shop has ever done for me (friends included). As awesome as the Mojo is, my joy that day was fulfilled by someone who put “others” first and himself last. It was no small drive from your shop in Davis. Rick, not only do you sell the best mountain bike on the trail, but your love of the sport and your unmatched customer service makes you someone I can trust and someone I can highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-end bike and high-end service.
